SIMG_CFMENUORFBOB19 - Define Minority Indicators

Define indicators for suppliers that are minority-owned businesses in the United States.

You define indicators for suppliers that are minority-owned businesses. These indicators are relevant only in the United States.

After defining such an indicator, you can enter it in the master data for the relevant suppliers. Your entry marks them as minority-owned businesses when you create reports for these suppliers.

To assign a minority group indicator to a supplier, choose from one of the following options:

• Use the Manage Supplier Master Data app:

1. Open the Manage Supplier Master Data app.
2. Search for the supplier and open it from the search result.
3. Switch to the Company Codes tab.
4. Open the company code in edit mode.
5. Enter a value in the Minority Group field in the Accountingsection on the Finance tab.
6. Save your changes.

• Use the Maintain Business Partner app:

1. Open the Maintain Business Partner app.
2. Search for the supplier and double-click it from the search result.
3. Choose FLVN00 Supplier (Fin.Accounting) (defined) from the Change in BP role drop-down list.
4. Choose the Company Code tab in the top row of the app.
5. Enter a value in the Minority Indicator field in the Account Management section that appears.
6. Save your changes.
