In this step, you can transport master, control, and financial reporting data for consolidation, for example, from a test system into a productive system. You can also specify what related information should also be transported at the same time.

The SAP system places the selected objects into a correction request. Using transport functions, you can transfer the data to the target system. The following settings can be transported:

  • Master data
  • Companies

  • Subgroups

  • FS chart of accounts

  • Selected FS items

  • Transaction types

  • Transaction type groups

  • Data entry forms

  • Validation rules

  • Standard reports

  • Versions

  • Ledgers

  • Document types

  • Consolidation methods
  • Currency translation

  • Reclassifications

  • IC Eliminations (payables/receivables & revenue/expense)

  • Elimination of IC profit and loss

  • Consolidation of investments

  • Financial reporting data
  • Elimination of IC profit and loss in inventory

  • Elimination of IC profit and loss in transferred assets

  • Consolidation of investments

  1. Determine which data you want transport.
  2. Select the appropriate data.
  3. Place the data in the correction request using the function "Enter in correction list."
