SIMG_CFMENUORFCOC81 - Change item numbers in FS chart of accounts

In this step, you can automatically replace the financial statement item numbers predefined in the standard delivery system with your own item numbers.

This procedure is useful only if the structure of the FS chart of accounts you planned matches the predefined FS chart of accounts, but deviations in the numbering of the items occur.

If data has already been entered, please note: you must first complete the step Change item numbers in the totals table before changing the item numbers in the FS chart of accounts.

The item number exchange is not only carried out in the FS chart of accounts itself, but also systemwide wherever the corresponding item numbers are involved. Item sets are an exception: the item numbers in item sets are not automatically exchanged.

1. Enter the new item number in the FS chart of accounts for every appropriate item.
2. Perform the item number change.
