SIMG_CFMENUORFCZU05 - Define additional field categories

After you have specified the valid characteristics for your additional fields, you need to specify the valid combinations of first, second, and third additional fields.

In this step, you specify additional field categories. Using additional field categories, you can assign various combinations of additional field characteristics to companies. To do this, procede as follows:

1. Enter additional field categories in this step.
2. In the step Assign additional field categories to companies, assign an additional field category to each company in its master data.
3. Specify the valid combinations of additional fields for each additional field category in the steps Specify combination of first and second additional field and Specify combination of second and third additional field.

Activities

Find out whether you need different combinations of additional field characteristics for your companies:

• If you do, define all the additional field categories you require.

• If you do not, you only need to define one additional field category.
