In this IMG activity you define default values for combinations of cost element attributes, with no more than eight attributes allowed in a combination.

For example, you could save the following attribute mix:

  • Service
  • Affecting payment

You have completed the IMG activity Maintain Cost Element Attributes

The cost element attribute mix is not used in the SAP standard delivery at this time.

However, you may use the cost element attribute mix for your own evaluations in the information system. To do this, you must create user-defined reports.

The SAP standard delivery includes examples of cost element attribute mixes.

  1. Check whether the examples meet requirements.
  2. If necessary, create new cost element attribute mixes.

To transport the attribute mix, a separate function is available in Controlling Customizing under General Controlling.
