In this IMG activity you create cost elements for activity allocation.

The cost element takes receiver debits as part of internal activity allocation, for example, direct or indirect activity allocations.

Example

Example

The cost element for activity allocation, which you enter in the master data of an activity type, is a default that you can overwrite during activity type planning.

Allocation of an activity type occurs with the cost element you save in activity type planning.

• Decide for which business transactions and with which activity types you want to carry out activity allocation. You must also decide under which cost element the activity type is to be displayed in your reports.

• Create a secondary cost element of category 43.

To transport cost elements, choose the function for this found in "General Controlling" Customizing.
