SIMG_CFMENUORKSOKES - Define Splitting Structure
RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases ABAP Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
You determine how and which activity-independent costs from a cost center are divided between the activity types.
In a splitting structure you define how and which activity-independent costs of a cost center are split among the activity types. This applies to both plan and actual activity-independent costs.
A splitting structure consists of one or more assignments. Splitting structure YA is provided as standard. The assignment represents the link between the cost elements/cost element groups to be split and the splitting rules according to which the costs are divided.
The splitting rules apply the following splitting methods:
Splitting rule | Splitting method |
---|---|
YA1: Activity quantity Actual (12) | Splitting of costs to actual quantities |
YA2: No splitting method (0) | No splitting of costs |
YA3: Activity quantity Planned (22) | Splitting of costs to planned quantities |
Cost element group and activity hierarchy
You can modify the predefined cost element groups (YBMF_P02-YBMF_P08) and activity type hierarchies (YBGHP2-YBGHP8) to suit your requirements. To do so, use the apps Manage Cost Element Groupsand Manage Global Hierarchies.
You can modify the splitting structure YA to suit your requirements. Proceed as follows:
- On the overview screen, under Splitting Structures, select the splitting structure YA.
- Choose Assignments from the structure tree.
- You can either select one of the predelivered assignments and modify it to suit your requirements, or choose New Entries to create a new assignment.
- For the assignment, define according to which rule splitting should be performed.
- Select an assignment and choose Selection for assignment in the structure tree.
- Define which Cost Element Group and which Activity Type Group (based on global hierarchies) or which cost element interval (between From Value and To Value) is to apply for this assignment.
- Save your settings.
Further notes
Check your structure to ensure that no inconsistencies could arise during splitting.
Inconsistencies can result from:
- Overlaps or redundancies between individual values, intervals, and groups
- Deletion of selection criteria, rules, or assignments
In contrast to actual cost splitting, plan cost splitting consists of only a single splitting step.
