You can carry out closing for various ledgers, such as for the German Commercial Code and US GAAP, which are based on different valuation approaches. To be able to take these different valuation approaches into consideration for calculation and posting, you must create valuation areas in this activity.

These are used in particular for:

• Foreign currency valuation (SAPF100, RFSBEW00) and

• Sorted list of receivables/payables (SAPF101)

Create the required valuation areas.
