Roles control authorizations for your task areas.
Note the documentation on roles.

The following roles are delivered for SAP ArchiveLink:

• SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_USER_AG

Role for SAP ArchiveLink users

• SAP_BC_SRV_ARL_ADMIN_AG

Role for SAP ArchiveLink administrators

Authorizations for SAP ArchiveLink are also contained in the following Basis roles:

• SAP_BPT_ADMIN

Role containing administration authorizations for SAP ArchiveLink, as well as other authorizations

• SAP_BPT_USER

Role containing the normal user authorizations for SAP ArchiveLink, as well as other authorizations

Note the documentation on transaction PFCG.

The following list shows which authprozations objects are checked for SAP ArchiveLink. With the exception of the first object, which is assigned to the object class "Basis - Administration", the following authorization objects belong to the object class "Basis - central functions".

• S_TABU_DIS

• S_WFAR_OBJ

• S_WFAR_PRI

• S_BDS_DS
