Confirmations are a means of monitoring an order. To be able to react as quickly as possible to an error (for example, too much scrap), the MRP controller who is responsible for a production order needs to be informed as soon as possible. This can take place automatically by using SAP Business Workflow.
The MRP controller receives a work item and from there can edit the production order, create a new production order, cancel confirmations that have been entered or enter a new confirmation.
In this scenario, you need to program function module text EXIT_SAPLCORF_105 (customer enhancement CONFPP05).
- Maintain processor assignment
- Link the standard task TS20000563 with your possible processors.
- Link MRP controllers with the organizational management
- If you only want the MRP controller who is responsible for the production order to receive a work item, rather than all possible processors assigned to the standard task TS20000563, link the MRP controller (organizational object type T024D) with the SAP organizational management.
- Activate event linkage
- Activate event linkage between the standard task TS20000563 and the event BUS2116.MaxDifferenceExceeded.
- Program and activate function module text EXIT_SAPLCORF_105 in customer enhancement CONFPP05
