In this IMG activity, you define rights that you use to exercise a premature termination of a collateral agreement. Data pertaining to termination of collateral agreements is used in the SAP Basel II framework.

Note: To use termination rights, you must also have defined termination right types in the IMG activity Define Termination Right Types.

Some possible termination rights are:

  • Expiry of the validity period
  • Repayment of the receivable
  • Loan waiver by the bank (collateral taker)

Determine the possible termination rights that you may require in your bank.
