SIMG_CMS_RE_AST_TYP - Assign Asset Types to Real Estate Types

In this IMG activity, you assign asset types to real estate types. In making this assignment, you determine the asset type for which an asset must be created, when a real estate is created in Real Estate object management.

By assigning accessory types to sub-asset types, you determine the sub-asset types that must be created. Therefore, when you create an asset, a sub asset for the accessory type is also created.

In the respective Implementation Guide (IMG) activities, you must have defined the asset types and sub-asset types that you want to map to real estate types, building part types and accessory types.

Determine a mapping pattern between accessory types and sub-asset types to meet your business requirements. Additionally, you must ensure that the real estate type of the accessory is already assigned to the asset type of the sub-asset.
