SIMG_ECP_PRECP4 - Assign Plan Category to CO version for Easy Cost Planning for Project

In this customizing activity, specify the category used for ongoing plan values by using the Project Management Easy Cost Planning (ECP)application.

1. In the customizing activity Maintain Category for Planning create a category with the Application Type as Project Management and Usage as Easy Cost Planning for Projects.
   For example, Plan Category: PROJ_ECP01, Medium Description: Project Easy Cost Planning Plan Values
2. Open the customizing activity Assign Plan Category to CO Version for Easy Cost Planning for Project.
3. Specify the Controlling Area and the CO version for ECP.
   The input help (F4) displays the existing CO versions for the selected controlling area for ECP.
4. Assign an existing plan category for ECP that is maintained in the customizing activity Maintain Category for Planning.
5. If ECP is applied to projects for the specified Controlling Area and CO version, then the planned costs are stored with the assigned plan category.
   

If a Plan Category is in use, you cannot edit or delete it.
