SIMG_GEN_UTIL_PARAMS - Maintain General Parameters for Cloud Systems

In this Customizing activity, you can identify the system where you are executing this activity as a cloud system and communicate this status to certain applications. Applications can contains different coding for on premise and cloud systems. The parameters maintained in this activity allow the system to tell which coding to run through.

Perform the following steps in order to identify your system as a cloud system for certain applications:

1. To register an application that system type "Cloud" is relevant for, enter the name of the application in the Application Name column.
2. In the Parameter Name 1 column, enter "Cloud".
3. In the Parameter Value 1 column, enter "X".

Tte system will not be recognized as a cloud system by the application in question, and the relevant coding run through.
