Use this step to assign the classes for the runtime value determination to the customer-specific fields.

To use customer-specific fields in conditions, you should perform the following steps:

  1. Create the customer include CI_GTR_RULE_COND_FLDS.
  2. Create the field you want to use for the conditions within the Customer Include. Also attach either the standard searchhelp or a customer defined searchhelp.
  3. Create a class which implements the interface IF_GTR_RULE_COND_VALUES. This class is called during runtime to get the correct field value for the customer-specific fields. See example class CL_GTR_COND_EXAMPLE_IMP which is the implementation for the fields BP_COUNTRY and BP_REGION.

Standard customer-specific fields are BP_COUNTRY and BP_REGION. Those fields are used as a example. The fields are assigned to the class CL_GTR_COND_EXAMPLE_IMP which takes care that the correct values are filled during runtime.

  1. Create a new entry and select the customer-specific field you want to use in conditions.
  2. Assign the correct class to the field to determine the correct field value.
