Example
The following example relates to the ICL_CLAIM_DI mode.
Scenario
During the direct input processing of claims in the Multiple Contracts claim bundle category (processing of multiple contracts), several hundred claims can be processed simultaneously using parallel processing. To distribute parallel processing better, you want to restrict the number of claims processed in parallel and distribute this processing to several servers.
Customizing Settings
Make the following settings in the Customizing activity Configure Parallel Processing in FS-CM:
- User: Leave this field empty because you want the settings to apply to all users.
- Mode: ICL_CLAIM_DI
- Maximum number of parallel work processes: 5
- Logon/server group: parallel_generators
Behavior of the System in the Application
The system starts five parallel work processes to process claims. It starts the next group of five claims only when these five work processes have finished.
The system distributes the processes to the servers that are entered in the server group parallel_generators.
