SIMG_ICL_CCLAIMTYPX - Configure Internal Claim Types

Use

In this Customizing activity you define properties of internal claim types for the line of Life Insurance.

Make the following settings:

• Key of the claim type

• Claim type name

• Claim category

• Lead days for payment and contract reengineering

• Lead days for disability/incapacity to work correspondence

• Default due date

• Payment method used by the system for internal offsetting

• Automatic resubmission

• Benefit values from Product Engine

• Indication whether fund data is determined from the contract

• You can specify that the release date in FS-PM is to be used with funds (see data element CL_VALUEDATE_PM_D).

Requirements

• You have defined the claim types and permitted causes of loss in Customizing activity Configure Header Data (Part 1).

• The reasons for contract locks have been defined in the policy system.
