SIMG_ICL_ITEM_CHECK - BAdI: Tolerance Check on Benefit Values

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in SAP Claims Management in the Life line of business.

The Claims Management system calls this BAdI after contract reengineering, which is part of background processing for claim closure. You can define that the BAdI checks certain benefit values. If these benefit values are exceeded or not reached, the BAdI can terminate background processing. It can also display a task.

This BAdI is active in the standard system. It is shipped with an example implementation. With this implementation, the system checks whether the tolerance limits for the fund value or premium arrears were exceeded. If a tolerance was exceeded, the claim is resubmitted to the person responsible.
