Use

Claim data for the calculation of supplemental reserves can be output to two alternative memory resources.

• Write claim data to database:

The system recognizes this alternative from the fact that the customizing entry for the output file is empty ("initial"). SAP supplies function module ICL_ICLCLAIMDATA_OUT_UPDATE that reads the claim data from table ICLCLAIMDATA_OUT and deletes any entries with the same key. If the results of report ICL_SUP_APPL are to be output in modified form, you can also use another function module (interface as with function module ICL_ICLCLAIMDATA_OUT_UPDATE, see also report ICL_SUP_APPL).

If you want the table to be overwritten with input data (-> ICLCLAIMDATA), you need to specify a suitable function module.

• Write claim data to a file:

The system recognizes this alternative from the fact that the customizing entry for the claim file is not "initial". In addition, you must specify a function module that transfers the claim data to the specified file.
