SIMG_ICL_VC_CPROFILE - Create Benefit Processing Profiles at Product Level

Use

In this IMG activity you define the benefit processing profiles at product level that are relevant for claims processing and assign a claim type to each profile.

Make the following settings for a benefit processing profile at product level:

Level of Benefit processing profile (product):

• Specify a key and a name for the benefit processing profile.

• Enter a specification for posting to SAP Collections & Disbursements (FS-CD).

Here you can only define specifications that you have already defined in IMG activity FS-CD:Define Contract Account Creation Variant and Insurance Object for Contract.

• Specify a Status of integration with the Collections & Disbursements System.

• Specify whether the processing profile supports fund products.

Level of Assigned subclaims:

• Assign a claim type to the benefit processing profile.

Here you can only assign claim types that you have already defined in IMG activity Configure Header Data (Part 1).

Level of Claim type definition:

• For definition of the claim type, you assign an incident type to the claim type that you entered at the level of Assigned Claim Types .

• You can enter the following default causes of loss for each combination of incident type and claim type:

• Automatic setting of cause of loss

• Automatic cause of loss with contract reactivation

• Automatic cause of loss for lump sum / annuity option
