Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the reasons for changing a reserve.

You use the Manual Reason checkbox to control whether a reserve change reason is used for reserves set automatically by the system or for reserves set manually. If you change a reserve manually in the application, the input help displayed by the system for the Change Reason field contains only those reasons where the Manual Reason checkbox has been selected.

Requirements

Standard settings

If you define own reserve change reasons, you can use these only for reserves set manually.

Activities

Example

The change reason Closure of Subclaim is only relevant if the system sets the reserve automatically. As a result, you do not select the Manual Reason checkbox.

The change reason Other Claim Items is only relevant if you change the reserve manually. As a result, you select the Manual Reason checkbox.
