SIMG_ISHMED_SNSE_DT - Implement Document Categories with Document Type

In this Customizing activity, you make the following settings:

• Set Up Document Type for Document Categories

• Import and Install Document Categories

To be able to install document categories, you have to specifiy a valid document type. The system provides the BC set ISHMED_SNSE_DOCUMENT_TYPE_SDA to implement the document type SDA. Before importing this BC set, check whether the document type SDA is already used in the system. If the document type is already used, enter a new document type key when installing the BC set. Note that you must use this document type key when installing the document categories.

The installation packages for the document categories are provided in the system using BC sets. For information on the BC sets which are currently active, see SAP Note 1967718.

To set up the document type and document category, proceed as follows:

• Make the following settings for the document type to be used:

• Define a status network with an initial status and a subsequent lock status.

Note that no further statuses may be defined between these two statuses.

• Assing class type and class

For more information about setting up the class, see Maintain Class.

• Import and install the following document categories with the BC set that is valid for your system and the document type you set up beforehand:

• N1SNSE_PDF

• N1SNSE_CDA
