In this step, you create a subdivision ID for the subdivision of Funds Management master data.

You only define the key for a subdivision ID in this step.

You define the actual structure of the subdivision, for example, the number and length of the individual substrings of an account assignment element in the IMG activity "Define Substrings for Each Account Assignment" for each subdivision ID.

Create a subdivision ID for each account assignment element you want to subdivide.

If a number of account assignment elements should have the same structure, you can use the same subdivision ID for them.
