In this step, define the structure of the subdivision for each account assignment element and subdivision ID.
You can divide the fields -according to data master record- in a different maximum of field, into substrings.

You define the length and position the substring should have within the account assignment element for each substring.
The subdivision ID must be created in the IMG activity "Create Subdivision ID".
Define the setting you want to have.
Note that a substring can have a maximum of 10 characters. In addition, the total of all characters including the separator (which you can define in the "Activation of the Master Data Subdivision") must not exceed the maximum length of the account assignment element.
