This derivation is only used for transaction-independent volume costing. It serves to determine the costing rule, as well as other costing-relevant parameters such as the scenario (only relevant for planning), and the conditions list (for determining the customer interest and interest contribution).

You must have maintained volume costing rules, scenarios, and condition lists.
