With this activity you define the resolution order (priority) in which info objects from different version contexts are displayed. This is necessary if you want to display SAP standard info objects in your SAP system in addition to your own customer-specific content .

When application help is called, this resolution order is evaluated: The system displays info object versions from the "more specific" enhancement contexts before displaying versions from more general contexts.

Note that SAP does not provide content any more for documentation / training (SAP Note 2129988).

In addition to the customer-specific content in enhancement contexts (namespace /KWCUST/XX for example), the document areas in SAP Knowledge Warehouse must also contain content in the SAP namespace.

  1. Enter the name of an enhancement context in the "Add On ID” field.
  2. In the "Basis Add On" field, enter the name of the context whose versions should be displayed if no info objects are found for the context entered under "Add On ID".
    If this is the default context, leave the "Basis Add On" field empty.

Make sure that the enhancement contexts you enter result in a seamless order and that there are no endless loops.

By running report RSIWBH07 with the "Collect Contexts for Help Links" option (under Processing Type -> General), you can create a list of the enhancements contained in the help links.

If you do not want to add more than 10 enhancements, you can also run report RSIWBH01 or activity 'Sequence of Enhancements in Customer Namespace’ directly.

If you use help type "DynamicHelp" for the application help in your SAP system, where the content is displayed from the Knowledge Warehouse system, enhancement contexts present in the resolution order defined here must exist in the Knowledge Warehouse system as enhancement contexts (see Enhancements under "Settings in the Knowledge Warehouse System"). The sequence of the enhancements here and in the SAP NetWeaver Knowledge Warehouse system must match. resolution order defined here must exist in the Knowledge Warehouse system as enhancement contexts (see Enhancements in the section "Settings in the Knowledge Warehouse System").
