In this IMG activity, you have the option of changing the standard step flow by:

  • Define new logical transactions or change the properties of existing ones
  • Personalizing the step flow

Logical transactions and step flow are provided with the standard system.

Defining a New Logical Transaction

  1. Choose Transaction Catalog.
  2. In the Prof field, choose User defined.
  3. In the Logical Transaction field, enter a name for the transaction.
  4. In the Initial Step field, choose the transaction step that constitutes the starting point of the logical transaction.
  5. If the transaction involves system-guided selection, select System-Guided.
  6. Enter text to describe the logical transaction.

Personalizing the Step Flow

  1. Choose Define Step Flow.
  2. In the Prof field, choose User defined.
  3. Enter the following:
    1. Predecessor and successor transaction steps in the flow
    2. Function code selected and the corresponding function module executed
    3. Processing mode
    4. Function code set in background mode (if applicable)
