SIMG_LEYMDEFINEMENUS - Define Menus
rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run time ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plansThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you define the following for presentation devices:
- Menus
- Menu tree for different personalization profiles, including the menus and sub-menus to be displayed, menu sequence and associated logical and external transactions
Users can access their own menu tree according to their personalization profile (assigned to users for each yard via the Define RF Users monitor method).
Before you can define a menu tree, you must have already defined personalization profiles in IMG activity Personalize User Data.
No menu catalog or menu tree is provided with the standard system.
If you want the standard menus, fill the tables as below.

Define the menu catalog in this activity and then define the personalization profiles in IMG activity Personalize User Data. After you have finished defining the personalization profiles, return to this activity and define the menu trees.
- Choose Menu Catalog.
- Define your dynamic menus.
- In the Dynamic Menu field, enter a name for each menu to appear in the presentation device.
- Enter long and short text for each menu. This is the text that will appear for the menus on the presentation device's screen, depending on the device's display profile.
- Define your personalization profiles in IMG activity Personalize User Data. We recommend that you define profile **, since it is provided with a function code profile in the standard system.
- Return to this activity and choose Menu Tree.
- Define menu trees for each personalization profile.
- In the Personal. field, enter the personalization profile identifer as defined in step 3 above.
- In the Dynamic Menu field, choose the name of a previously defined dynamic menu.
-
For each dynamic menu, enter a logical transaction code. If the menu branches into another menu, the transaction code is MENU. Otherwise, choose a specific logical transaction code.
If you need to enter a logical transaction that does not appear in the drop-down list, firstly add its code in the transaction catalog of IMG activity Define Flow Logic. - If the dynamic menu has a lower menu, choose the name of the lower menu from the Lower-Level Menu field. If there is more than one lower menu, enter each lower menu on separate lines and assign them different sequence numbers.
- If you want the menu to branch to an external transaction (e.g. LMOB transaction LM00), enter the transaction code in the Ext.Transaction field.
- Enter long, short and very short text. This is the text that will appear for the logical transactions on the presentation device's screen, depending on the device's display profile.
