Define batch determination quantity proposal procedures.

In batch determination, the required quantity is covered by assigning portions from the existing different batch stocks in accordance with the sort sequence. This quantity distribution can be adapted by implementing the Business Add-In (BAdI): Procedures for Quantity Proposal.

With this activity, quantity proposal procedures can be defined, which in a second step are assigned to a strategy type or to a strategy for batch determination. The BAdI: Procedures for Quantity Proposal contains this procedure as a parameter, so that the BAdI implementation can be carried out depending on the procedure assigned to the strategy.

Note: the BAdI is only called during batch determination if the procedure assigned to the strategy is active.

To define a quantity proposal procedure, select New Entries, choose a procedure number between 600 and 999 and a description. When ticking the active indicator, the new procedure will be available for assignment in search strategy types and search strategies.
