In this IMG activity, you define both static and dynamic Execution Control Objects (ECOs).

You have already defined the following:

  1. Define static and dynamic ECOs for each site.
    1. A static ECO is defined when the constraint type is Resource typeor Handling Unit Type.
    2. A dynamic ECO is defined when the constraint type is Task.
    3. When defining the ECOs, enter LTRM_EGO_SUBSCRIPTION_SERVICEor your own service in the Service field.
  2. Define the capacity of the static ECOs.
  • Qualified resource types that you do not include in any of the combinations are not limited and can gain access to the zone, even if the zone has reached its maximum capacity in terms of any of the defined combinations.

  • Handling unit types that you do not include in any of the combinations are not limited. Any quantity can be physically located at the node, even if the node has reached its maximum capacity in terms of any of the defined combinations.
You can also define a combination that is not handling unit type specific, by entering ** in the Constr.ob field.

For zone X in site 0001, you want to create the following three different combinations of resource types and their quantities, representing the maximum capacity of the ECO (ID 10) at any given point in time:

  • Combination 1 - 10 x SIMPL and 1x SIMPL2
  • Combination 2 - 11 x SIMPL
  • Combination 3 - 7 x SIMPL2

In order to reflect this, you would make the following settings:

Combn. ID Constr. ob Quantity
1 SIMPL 10
1 SIMPL2 1
2 SIMPL 11
3 SIMPL2 7

7
