SIMG_ME_MESC - Define Measurement Sources

In this IMG activity, you define measurement sources. Measurement sources define the applications that record measurements using the measurement system.

Each application must be assigned to a measurement source. An existing source may be used if there is a logical hierarchy (for example, all measurement point applications can use the same source), or if a new one can be created.

Standard settings

The PRA system is supplied with standard, pre-configured measurement sources.

Recommendation

A new measurement source is required if a new application is configured to use the measurement system.

Activities

1.,,Choose New entries and enter a measurement source.

2.,,Select the measurement source and choose Details.

,,The Change View Measurement source: Detailsscreen appears.

3.,,Enter data as required for the measurement source details.

,,Save the measurement source definition.
