SIMG_MM_SPMLSTN - Define Milestones for Sourcing Projects

This activity enables the creation and editing of milestones for a sourcing project.

In this step, you can create new milestones for a sourcing project, or you can edit the existing milestones. Each milestone has the following parameters that can be maintained:

  • Milestone type
You can select a numerical value that will be used as an ID.
  • Milestone description
  • Milestone icon
This is an icon that is displayed in the "Manage Sourcing Projects" app to help the user easily identify the milestone. To add an icon to the milestone, proceed as follows:
  1. In the SAP Icon Explorer, search for an icon that you want to use.
  2. Copy the icon code of the selected icon, e.g., sap-icon://activate.
  3. Paste the copied code into the relevant column in the customizing step.

In this step, you can create new milestones for a sourcing project, or you can edit the existing milestones. Each milestone has the following parameters that can be maintained:

  • Milestone type
You can select a numerical value that will be used as an ID. The numerical value must be a two-character whole number, for example, you use "10" as the first milestone ID.
  • Milestone description
  • Milestone icon
This is an icon that is displayed in the "Manage Sourcing Projects" app to help the user easily identify the milestone. To add an icon to the milestone, proceed as follows:
  1. In the SAP Icon Explorer, search for an icon that you want to use.
  2. Copy the icon code of the selected icon, e.g., sap-icon://activate.
  3. Paste the copied code into the relevant column in the customizing step.

Milestones

  1. Kick-Off Meeting (sap-icon://accept)
  2. Delivery Deadline (sap-icon://accidental-leave)
  3. Retrospective Meeting (sap-icon://account)

In this example, it is determined that three milestones will be shown to the user in the "Manage Sourcing Projects" app in the section "Milestones". The first milestone will be a kick-off meeting, the second will be the delivery deadline and the third will be a retrospective meeting. The milestones will be shown with the selected icons and descriptions.

Milestones

  • 10 - Kick-Off Meeting (sap-icon://accept)
  • 20 - Delivery Deadline (sap-icon://accidental-leave)
  • 30 - Retrospective Meeting (sap-icon://account)
