SIMG_MM_SRCGPROJI_TY - Define Item Types for Sourcing Projects

This implementation activity allows you to manage sourcing project item types.

In this implementation activity, you can do the following:

• Display the classification of the existing item types for sourcing projects

• Change the item classification names

The item classification name is shown on the UI and describes an item category with the item type assigned to it.

• Change the sourcing project item icon

The sourcing project item icon is shown on the UI to the right of the item classification name.

There are two main item categories:

• Item

This category is used for single items. It can be assigned to the item types "Complex", "General", or "Invest". The item type "Complex" allows for the demand management of the items.

• Item Set

This category is used to organize multiple items in a hierarchical structure. Only the item type "Set" is assigned to this item category.

To change the item classification name, put the cursor in the relevant field in the column "Item Classification Name", enter the desired description, and save the changes.

To change the sourcing project item icon, put the cursor in the relevant field in the column "Sourcing Project Item Icon", paste icon string and save the changes.

Please note that you can only use icons available in the Icon Explorer - sapui5. In the Icon Explorer - sapui5, you can select the desired icon, copy the displayed icon string to the clipboardand paste in the relevant field in this step.
