SIMG_MM_SRCGPROJ_TY - Define Sourcing Project Types

This implementation activity enables you to manage sourcing project types.

In this step, you can do the following:

• Create new sourcing project types

• Change the description of the sourcing project types

• Assign contact category groups to the sourcing project types

• Assign milestone groups to the sourcing project types

• Assign phase groups to the sourcing project types

• Define reason groups for unconfirmed demand, new versions of sourcing projects, declining of supplier participation, unlocking of suppliers, exclusion of items and canceling of sourcing projects

• Enable the option to confirm the demand for items within the sourcing project

• Define integration scenarios, if relevant

• Define the relevance of the integration with an external system

Contact categories, contact category groups, phases, milestones, milestone groups, reason codes, reason groups, and integration scenarios are maintained.

You can transport sourcing project types as follows:

Choose menu "Table View" > "Transport".

All sourcing project type objects are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the types you export are present.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
