Define Deletion Reasons for Supplier Lists

In this step you can define the deletion reasons for supplier lists. You can provide a deletion reason code, a description of the deletion reason, set the default deletion reason, and set further deletion reasons to active or inactive status.

To create a deletion reason for a supplier list, perform the steps described below:

1. On the initial screen select "New Entries" or select "More"-> "Edit"-> "New Entries".
2. Enter a numerical code for the deletion reason. The deletion reason code is limited to three numbers only.
3. Enter a text description for the supplier deletion reason. For example, supplier does not meet quality requirements.
4. Select the "Reason is Active" checkbox if you want the reason to be active. If the reason is not ready to be active, make sure the "Reason is Active" checkbox is unchecked.
5. If the deletion reason will be the default reason for deletion, check the "Reason is Default" checkbox. Only active deletion reasons can be set as default.
6. Choose "Save" to finish or select "More"-> "Table View"-> "Save".

You can change the active or default status of a deletion reason at any time. If you want to set a deletion reason to default, check the "Reason is Default" checkbox and the "Reason is Active" checkbox. Only one deletion reason can be set as the default reason for deletion. If a reason is no longer required to be active, you can uncheck the "Reason is Active" checkbox. After you make any changes to the default or active status for a deletion reason follow the save procedure to save your changes.
