SIMG_MRN_0019 - Enable customer enhancement fields for field selection
BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend ServicesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Here you can make your own append fields visible to the Screen Configuration Tool (SCT). The SCT allows you to influence a field status (required/suppressed/optional/read-only) according to business location type.
Field configuration is done in the Define business location type with screen configuration customizing step.
The default settings are specified by the Supress, Mandatory (Required), Optional and Display radio buttons.
Restrictions to the possible settings can be defined using the No Suppress, No Required, No Optional and No Display only indicators.
Whenever a flag is set, the corresponding field setting is not ready for input in the field selection customizing dialog.
Assume that you want to have a field called 'Land Registration number' on General data screen 2 of the location master transaction, which can then be influenced by the location type.
For this you have drawn a subscreen in the (customer) workarea SAPLXOIF and have assigned it to General data screen 2
in the Assign subscreens - append structure management step.
The 'technical' name of the screen element is OIFSPBL-A1_SGRNDB.
The default field setting according to the screen painter attribute is 'optional'.
To make this field accessible for field selection, you have to create one entry:
Data section | Element name | Optional | |
---|---|---|---|
GENERAL2 | OIFSPBL-A1_SGRNDB | X |
To make the screen configuration work for a customer subscreen, it has to be called within the PBO (process before output) logic of that subscreen.
The module pool SAPLXOIF, which is reserved for customer enhancements, therefore contains a module called AMC_SET_FIELDS.
A line MODULE AMC_SET_FIELDS has to be included in the PBO logic of a customer enhancement subscreen.
