Use
In this Customizing activity you can make various client-specific settings for SAP Claims Management:
By means of the Update Version field, you can make a setting so that when a claim is changed the system checks whether new versions of time-dependent Customizing exist.

In the fields Claim Number, External → Internal and Claim Number, Internal → External you can enter own conversion exits for conversion of claim numbers. For more information, see:
You can switch off the Update Tracker function.

You can make a setting so that the whole claim is always locked as soon as you call the claim in change mode. For more information, see the documentation of data element ICL_LOCK_WHOLE_CLAIM.
You can switch off the Memo Pad function. For more information see Claim Memo Pad Turned Off.

In the fields Contract Number, External → Internal and Contract Number, Internal → External you can enter own conversion exits for conversion of contract numbers. For more information, see:

You can specify that the system does not apply limits and deductibles when a claim item is paid out. For more information, see Pay Claim Items: Ignore Limits and Deductibles.
You can enter a default gender for participants.
You can specify that payment approval is not required for goodwill payments. For more information, see Release Not Required for Goodwill Payments.
You can make a setting so that a claim handler with insufficient authorization is not even able to create a payment. For more information, see Do Not Create Payment If All Authorizations Are Missing.
You can make a setting so that the system automatically changes both the gross and net reserve when a reassignment takes place. For more information, see Change Net Reserve with Reassignments.
You can make a setting so that all damage categories are permitted when a claim item is created. For more information, see the documentation of data element ICL_ALL_DOBJ4ITEM.
You can make a setting so that you can reopen subrogation/recovery that has already been closed.
