The system contains the following calculation variants:

  • A = Absolute amount
  • D = Difference
  • G = Actual salary increase

The name range A to Z is reserved for SAP. If you want to add your own customer variants, use the name range 0 to 9.

  1. Determine if you require any additional calculation variants in your organization

If you do decide to add your own variants, you will have to write the additional coding to support your user-specific calculation methods. You will also have to carry out the customizing activity User Exit: Calculation Variants for Guidelines.

  1. Choose New entries
  2. Enter a one-digit identifier and a text for each of your variants
