SIMG_OHP4OOZS - Specify Attendance Types

In this step, you define attendance types for instructors and attendees (object type 'P') that are written as subtypes of the Absences infotype (2002). You do so with the switches AINST and APART. In addition, in the switch TIMEP, you define what percentage event attendance must be recorded for the business event duration to prevent cancellation of the booking.

The values you enter as attendance types must also be created with object type 'P' in Customizing for Time Management (PT) for all groupings of the personnel subareas for attendance and absence.

The values 425 for attendance type/instructor and 420 for attendance type/event attendance are automatically defaulted if the required conditions are fulfilled.

The setting for instructor (switch AINST) is only relevant if you use integration with Training and Event Management.
The same applies to the switch TIMEP, which is only used for bookings in Training and Event Management.
