SIMG_OHPIQ_0640 - Maintain Settings for Application Archiving

In this activity, you maintain the settings for archiving of applications in application management.

You can activate or deactivate the function for historical record creation. If you activate this function, you can specify in which cases the system should create historical records.
You can also maintain the printer settings for application archiving.

You can store the data of an application in the optical archive in the form of a print list each time you save this data or each time the status of this application changes. Print lists are administered in the optical archive and can be displayed via the application at any time.

You want to use optical archiving for application management each time an application is saved.
You set the flag Act.hist.record creation for save operations.

To make the required settings, proceed as follows:

1. Select the appropriate entry under Archiving settings to activate or deactivate historical record creation as required.
2. Enter an output device, a format, and the number of lines and columns under Printer settings for application archiving.
3. When you have made all the required entries, choose Save.
