In this activity, you set up the program plans. A program plan is a variant that describes the various stages into which a program is divided.

You must create a new entry for each required program plan.

Some of the programs at your university are divided into three stages. Each stage represents one year of study.

You can map this program information in the system by setting up program plans and defining their stages.

In this activity, you create the program plan three stages.

In the next activity, you define each stage of this program plan:

• Stage 1

• Stage 2

• Stage 3

Then in a further activity, you combine the program plan with stages to map the pattern of this program in the system (e.g. Three Stages - Stage 1, Three Stages - Stage 2, Three Stages - Stage 3).

1. Choose New entries.
2. Enter a two-character alphanumeric key and a description for each program plan you require.
3. Choose Save.
