In this step, you enter the directories that are needed for creating Excel sheets in the Offline Travel Expenses (Service PRWW). The entries required depend on the trip provision variant.

These Excel sheets are templates that are used as modifiable raw version.

When using ITS:

  • You have installed Microsoft Excel 97 or a later release on the server.
  • You have set up the connection between the IAC and the RFCCOM server.
  • You have checked and published service PRWW from the SAP system.
  • You know the URL to the Web server on which service PRWW is to run.
  • You have copied the Excel sheets for service PRWW locally to the server. The copies are not absolutely necessary. But for performance reasons it is advisable to make the copies.

Additionally for the RFCCOM:

  • You have set up and tested the RFC

Destinations for the RFCCOM server

  1. Choose the 'New entries' function.
  2. Enter the trip provision variant for which you want to set up service PRWW.
  3. In the 'Path name raw template(s)' field, enter the path to the Excel sheet templates.
Note
The language-dependent Excel sheet templates that contain the coding and the screen layout, but no employee-specific data, are called Excel sheet templates (or raw templates). These are the Excel sheets that were checked out of the SAP system with service PRWW.
For better system performance, it is useful to copy these Excel sheets locally to the RFCCOM server (for example, in a directory called c:\travel). If these files are left on the Web server, they have to be copied to the RFCCOM server before the initialization process can be started. This can be very time-consuming.
  1. In the 'Path name template(s)' field enter the path under which the Excel sheets created by service PRWW are to be stored.
Note
This path is usually a path on the Web server on which service PRWW is run. Howver you should the UNC Address (for example, \\mywebserver\sheets, where 'sheets' is a released directory within the Internet document directory of the Web server).
  1. In the 'Template HTTP' field, enter the URL address of the directory that you entered in the 'Path name template(s)' field (for example, http://mywebserver.mydomain.com/sheets/).
Note
  • The parameters 'Path name template(s)' and 'Template HTTP' refer to the same directory on the Web server on which service PRWW is run. The first specifies the UNC address, the second the URL address.

  • Make sure that the system user of the RFCCOM server has the maximum authorizations for the released directory of the Web server.

  1. In the 'HTTP submit address' field, specify the address to which the data is to be sent via internet to start service PRWW and execute the command code CREA right away. This path specification is a URL address and is usually made up of the following parts:
  • The Web server URL (for example, http://mywebserver.mydomain.com)

  • The Web server port (for example, 1080)

  • The path for starting service PRWW (for example, Scripts/wgate.dll/PRWW//!)

  • The command code CREA, forwarding the data to the method 'EmployeeTrip.CreateFromData. (for example, ?~OKCode=CREA)

The complete path could be, for example: http://mywebserver.mydomain.com:1080/Sripts/wgate.dll/PRWW/!?~OKCode= CREA

You have made the necessary directories known for trip provision variant of the IAC Offline Travel Expenses (service PRWW).
