SIMG_OHR_OTE_PTRVSYN - Customizing Synchronization for Mobile Travel Expenses

Certain Customizing tables used by Mobile Travel Expenses and synchronized regularly do not need to be changed very often. For example: Currencies, Countries, Travel Expenses and so on. After the first synchronization, therefore, it is advisable to only include these tables in the synchronization if they have changed. This minimizes the data volume during the synchronization process.

You can enter a change date and the function module that determines the data on the SAP side (for Travel Expenses Customizing data: HRTRV_IF_GET_CUSTOMIZING) for each Customizing table using this IMG activity.

On the offline side, the date of the last synchronization of Customizing and Trip information is stored in the XML table TIMESTAMPS. When the synchronization process begins, Offline Travel Expenses compares the date of the last Customizing synchronization with the date entry in table PTRV_SYNC, and decides what data needs to be synchronized: If, according to table PTRV_SYNC, the Customizing data has not changed since the last synchronization, it will not be included in the new synchronization.

Whenever you make changes to the tables specified in this IMG activity, you must enter the change date so that the tables are updated during the next synchronization.
