SIMG_OHR_PTRV_PROD - Define Products for Spend Tracking

In this Customizing activity, you define the products that are to be available to you for returns to the authorities if you have selected the Track Spending indicator in the Expense Type. The products defined here are displayed to the user in the input help when an expense report is created in the Employee Self-Service (WDA) if they are valid at this time of creation, that is, the report is created during the validity period for the product and the Obsolete indicator is not set.

As an alternative to this Customizing activity, you can also upload the products from a file with a TXT for CSV format. To do this, use method UPLOAD_PTRV_PRODUCT_TABLE of class CL_FITV_UTIL.

Procedure:

1. In the Object Navigator (SE80), use class CL_FITV_UTIL to display method UPLOAD_PTRV_PRODUCT_TABLE and choose In the test environment (F8).

The Replace Generic Parameter Types dialog box appears.

1. Confirm the dialog box without making any changes.
2. Choose the Execute Method pushbutton next to the UPLOAD_PTRV_PRODUCT_TABLE method.
3. Choose the Edit long field or structure pushbutton next to IV_FILE_PATH.
4. Enter the full directory path at which the file is located.
5. Go back (F3) and choose Execute (F8).

Note the following formatting for your file:

TXT:

PRODUCT_ID PRODUCT_NAME PRODUCT_CAT PRD_DRUG_CODE DATE_ORIGIN DATE_EXPIRATION PRD_OBSOLETE_FLAG

CSV:

PRODUCT_ID;PRODUCT_NAME;PRODUCT_CAT;PRD_DRUG_CODE;DATE_ORIGIN;DATE_EXPIRATION;PRD_OBSOLETE_FLAG

You can specify the following properties:

• Product name

• Product category

• National drug code

• Validity start

• Validity end

• "Obsolete" status
