SIMG_OHTX809A - Define Validity Period for Grouping of Subsystem Connections (IT0050)

In this activity, you assign a validity period to your subsystem connection groupings for the assignment of employees in the Time Recording Information (0050) infotype. The system displays the validity period for each grouping in the input help (F4) of the subsystem grouping fields. The input help only contains entries for currently valid groupings.

The system determines the input help entries according to the following logic:

• If there are no entries in the table, the input help contains all entries that you defined in the Set Groupings for Connections to the Subsystem activity.

• If you have defined validity periods for your groupings here, the system includes the validity periods in the input help for these values. All other groupings have a validity period from low date to high date.

1. Select a grouping using the input help (F4).
2. Define a valid-from date and valid-to date for this grouping.
3. Save your entries.
