SIMG_OIJ_TSW_0018 - Define Reference Document Update

In this IMG activity you define the document types (for example, a sales order) that the system automatically updates when you save the nomination that references these documents.

In Customizing, you have activated in customizing the indicator for reference document update by choosing Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) -> TSW (Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench) -> Basic Functions -> Specify TSW control parameters.

In the first step, you set a filter in a Business Add-In (BAdI) for a selected reference document type (such as a sales order). You implement the BAdI to update the reference document based on changes made to the nomination. You also specify the worklist reason code for cases where the data in the nomination differ from that in the reference document: If the sales order quantity, which is already scheduled in a nomination, is changed, it is not possible to update the nomination with the new quantity. In such an instance, the scheduler is informed of the difference by means of the worklist.

In a second step, you define for which combination of nomination type and schedule type the nomination-dependent reference document is to be updated.

You can define the Customizing, under Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream)-> TSW (Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench)-> Nomination -> Basic Settings -> Define Reference Document Update.

If the reference document update needs to consider PPE updates then the new BAdI implementation filter value OIJ_UDP_DOC_PPEmust be selected in the Update Schedule line field for the corresponding RDI.

You can select the Delivery Update indicator to update the delivery (both open and final delivery) with quantity, scheduled date and TSW event changes done to the nomination.

You can select the Trading Contract indicator to update the referred trading contract (both open and final delivery) with quantity, scheduled date and TSW event changes done to the nomination.

The updates to the trading contract are done through a filter based BAdI. With this field, you can choose any filter to perform the updates. If this column is left blank, the SAP standard default implementation is called.
