SAP E-Book

Here you specify the release of forecast data from the SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO)to SAP Oil&Gas. You specifiy if the system is to transfer the forecast data to the Stock/Requirements List and/or to the Stock Projection Worksheet in Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench (TSW).

You must build an integration model to handle the data transfer between SAP APO and the SAP Oil&Gas system.

You must create all necessary master data records for locations and materials.

In the APO system, you must create a transfer profile that contains the same requirement type and version as the table in SAP Oil&Gas. Also, you must create an activity and background job which you then need to schedule.

To fill the Stock Projection Worksheet with forecast data from APO Demand Planning, select APO to SPW.

The StReqListfield controls the transfer of forecast data from APO to the Stock/Requirement List (transaction MD04).

Important:The system fills the Stock/Requirement list with forecast data, when the StReqListfield is NOT selected. If you select the StReqList field, the system does not fill the Stock/Requirement List with the data released from APO.

You can define how the forecast period is divided by entering a value in the PSplit field.

Select Rack issuesor Bulk nomination in the Fcst type field. Depending on your selection, the system displays the forecast data in the appropriate column of the TSW Stock Projection Worksheet.

When you select What-if DP, the system calculates simulated demand forecasts based on demand information, such as sales contracts. You must select Bulk nomination as the forecast type to use the What-if DP function.

In the SPType field enter the simulation type used for APO demand planning forecasts. In the SimApplic field you enter the corresponding simulation application.

Enter the Business Add-In (BAdI) method that you implement to handle the forecast values and to perform the subsequent generation of nominations.
