In this IMG activity you assign selected personnel costs to given allocation cost centers or internal orders.

In Payroll Accounting, the costs incurred are normally debited on the causing cost center or job. This is usually the master cost center of the employee.

For some accounts, it may be desirable to gather the costs on an allocation cost center or on an internal order instead.

In these cases, enter the required allocation cost center or an internal order for each company code and cost element. If you subdivide a company code into business areas, you can also enter the allocation cost center or the internal order for each company code, business area, and cost element.

  • Overhead costs for all employees as employer's contribution to Social Security or costs due to pregnancy leave.
  • If accrual was calculated in CO for costs such as vacation bonuses, the actual costs must be assigned to the accrual calculation order.
