Use

Note:

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Insurance, Enhancement Package 4, for the interface to SAP Policy Management (FS-PM) you can use the default mapping provided by SAP by way of the Service Mapping Tool for the lines of Life insurance and Home Contents insurance (see Customizing activity Call Service Mapping Tool). For more information, see the SAP Library for SAP Claims Management under Claims Management → Claim → Administration of Claims Management System → Integration of Claims Management System → Interface to Policy System → Default Mapping Using Service Mapping Tool (SMT).

The following documentation and Customizing activities Enhance Field Assignments, Enhance Value Assignments, Enhance Parameters and BAdI: FS-PM Proxy are only relevant through SAP ECC 6.0, Industry Extension Insurance, Enhancement Package 3.

Documentation of interface to FS-PM through enhancement package 3:

Communication between FS-CM and FS-PM takes place with standard BAdI implementations in FS-CM and a proxy in FS-PM. The standard BAdI implementations call remote-enabled function modules (RFC) of the proxy. This proxy is supplied with FS-CM. You must transport the proxy to your FS-PM system. In addition, you must implement the BAdI FS-PM Proxy in FS-PM (see IMG activity: BAdI: FS-PM Proxy).

The standard BAdI implementations perform a transformation between the contract structures of FS-CM and of FS-PM.

The following entities are considered:

• Sum/s insured and calculations

Notes:

• Consider that just one contract of FS-PM can be assigned to a claim in FS-CM.

• You can adjust the assignments at field level to suit your own requirements in the Enhance Field Assignments and Enhance Value Assignments Customizing activities.

Requirements

1. Activate the following standard BAdI implementations in FS-CM:

• ICL_POLICY_POV_FSPM (BAdI: Call of Input Help for Policy Number)

• ICL_POLS_IMPORT_FSPM (BAdI: Interface to Policy Management system)

• ICL_POLICY_DISP_FSPM (BAdI: Call of Policy Transaction in Policy Management System)

1. Create the destination POLICY_SYSTEM in FS-CM for communication with your FS-PM system.
2. Transport the packages ICL_PM_INTERFACE_PROXY and ICL_PM_INTERFACE_TYPES to your FS-PM system.
3. Implement the BAdI FS-PM Proxy in your FS-PM system.
