SIMG_PM_MAP - PRA/PM Integration Mapping

In order to make the integration between PRA and Plant Maintenance flexible, the manner in which Plant Maintenance objects are maintained when PRA entities are maintained is configurable.
Within this IMG activity:
When you select Change --> New Entries, the New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen is displayed.
- Choose the appropriate PRA entity to be mapped (mapping means creating a link to). Do that by entering it in the PRA Entity field.
- Specify an (up to) 3-digit sequence number. The number is used to enable different routine processing based on other factors such as Create vs. Change.
- Within the Tr.Mode column, choose the transaction mode: either Create or Change.
- Choose the target plant maintenance entity that you would like to map the PRA activity to.
- Enter the routine number used for processing transactions.
Save your record.
Further Notes
In addition to the fields provided with the standard system, an append structure has been added, which you can use to add your own additional fields. The append structure is also included on the cross reference table, OIU_PM_XREF. Thus, added fields are intended to be used for either information purposes, or to provide added control over which routines are executed.
